Sonic Blast Man is the perfect combination of Action, Side-scroll, Beat ‘em up, and Fighting elements developed by ITL Co., Ltd and published by Taito America Corporation. In the game, the player assumes the protagonist’s role named as Sonic, a superhero who is selected to save the world from an evil and his dark forces. The player can run, jump, kick, punch, and attack enemies his way through numerous levels while playing the game. During the game, the player can perform two special moves such as Screw Bomb and Dynamite Punch to take down waves of enemies to earn extra points. The player can traverse through five different stages, and battle foes ranged from ruffians to aliens. The health gauges of the player and enemies are displayed on the screen, and the player can refill his health after receiving damage by gathering power-ups.
