The game is a mix of Tactical and Third-person Shooter elements and supports both Single and Multiplayer modes. The Single-player contains up to twelve different missions, consisting of Brazil, Albania, Russia, and Algeria. There are five different ranks available such as Ensign, Commander, Captain, Lieutenant, and Admiral and you can choose one of them to start your game. In the game, first three ranks are unlocked, but you must accomplish your missions to unlock further rank. It has a variety of missions, and each mission has a primary, hidden bonus and secondary objectives. The game offers the exciting story and starts when the team of Seal members including Vandal, Jester, Specter, etc. are alerted by an informer known as Mallard. A black market allies known as the Sesseri Syndicate, controlled by a man, who are selling and trafficking weapons from their bases and units in Albania. The game set out you on an adventure to take down the team who is trying to smuggle plutonium and weapons from their bases. With enhanced gameplay, mechanics and story, SOCOM II U.S. Navy SEALs is the best game wonderful game to play and enjoy.

There are more than fifty story-based missions available and thirty challenging stages.
