The game acts as the playable sequel to Fluidity, where the player controls a small body of water that can be used in different stages of matter to advance through the levels of the game. Like the previous title, the game mixes a 2D Puzzle gameplay with platform elements. The plot revolves around the protagonist and his journey into an encyclopedia to rescue the Rainbow Spirits from a malicious ink-like substance and the scientist known as Goop.
