It offers similar gameplay to Plane Crazy and features Flight mode of Diddy Kong Racing. There are over thirty-three single-player challenge stages available, and the game lets the player partake in multiplayer matches against friends. Although the main focus of the game is on the racing genre, dogfights play a massive part in several modes of SkyDrift.
