SingStar is a Music, Rhythm, and Single-player video game developed by SCE Worldwide Studios London and published by SCEA. The game offers an exciting karaoke-based video game, and it lets players get their hands on competitive singing gameplay. During the game, the player has an option to use his microphones to play, or just download the app to turn your device into a personal pocket-sized mic. In the game, players can belt out their favorite tracks, from pop to rock, available to purchase from the online store. During the gameplay, the player will experience a new party mode, where up to eight players can team up in order to take on fun singing challenges, including Medleys, Pass the Mic, and First to the Post. During the gameplay, the player needs to score the best points to set the record to the community to beat. The player has an opportunity to show off his best bits on Twitter, and all players can rate the photos and videos of other players in the community.

The game serves as the part of the Persona video game series and also acts as the part of the massive Megami Tensei franchise. It introduces the central cast of RPG video game Persona 5, and the main gameplay focuses on characters, taking part in the rhythm-based gameplay. The premise of the game is RPG gameplay elements, introducing the gameplay which follows the similar pattern to Persona 4: Dancing All Night. In the start, the player needs to choose a character from available, polish his skills, and then start completing a set of tasks while playing music to advance through the game. The game features six-button controls to hit the notes in time to play the musical track. However, during the section of the song, known as Fever, a selected partner joins the player for the routine, with unique choreography for each character reflecting the relationship of the characters.
