Shock Troopers is an Arcade, Run and Gun, Co-op and Single-player video game created by Saurus and published by SNK. The game features three playable characters and lets you control one of them to jump into the fictional world where you have to fight against enemies. It has two different modes such as Lonely Wolf and Team Battle. At the beginning of each level, you must select whether to go through in one of two modes. In Team Battle, you must choose your soldier, and lead him in the battle against enemies, complete your tasks and earn points to progress in the game. In Lonely Wolf, one character in controlled throughout the match by you. In the plot, a blood-thirsty terrorist group has captured a scientist and his beloved daughter named as Cecilia to gain a powerful drug called Alpha-301, which turn a normal citizen into a superhuman soldier. A team is created consists of eight soldiers from different territories must battle through their rank and rescue the scientist and his daughter. Shock Troopers offers well-written story, brilliant gameplay, and excellent mechanics. Try it out.

It introduces the perfect blend of Rogue-lite, Retro, Cartoony Graphics, and Adventure game elements. The storyline revolves around two characters who have crash-landed on the planet Earth. It plays almost similar to the original title released for the Sega Genesis. The player controls his character from a fixed isometric perspective, and it introduces the same basic gameplay of searching and navigating the floating island. There are nine playable characters, and the player can play up to four players in co-op gameplay in either online or offline mode.
