Shivers is an Adventure and Single-player video game created and published by Sierra On-Line. The environment of the game is set in the fictional haunted museum, and the story focuses on the protagonist named Sir Hubert Windlenot, who was a peer of the British nobility as an archaeologist. The interest of the protagonist in controversial fringe topics including hollow earth, ancient astronauts, etc. brought him the reputation of the mad scientist. The game deals with the first-person perspective and offers a similar gameplay style to the famous video game The 7th Guest of Virgin Interactive. It features an elaborate bar at the screen’s bottom which serves as the health bar, displaying how much the life essence of the player remains or has lost. In the game, the flashback feature lets the player review the cutscenes of the game and re-read most of the text that has been discovered such as books or notebooks of victims. Shivers offers addictive gameplay, superb mechanics, and smooth controls.

Siren is a Survival-Horror, Stealth-based, and Single-player video game created by SCE Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation. The game introduces a thrilling storyline that follows an interconnected cast of characters that possess a strange power which lets them discover and hear what a nearby find. It split into two stages, and each stage is set in one of ten different areas in the town of Hanuda. To complete a stage the player needs to complete the main objective that involves reaching an exit point, face undead enemies, or locating an item. Objectives in stages are interconnected via a butterfly effect, and the actions of the character are in one stage can trigger a secondary objective in another stage. The player explores the environment from a third-person viewpoint, and his main objective is to complete each stage to advance through the story to become the master. Siren includes prominent features such as Two Stages, Challenging Objectives, Horrific Gameplay, NPCs, and more.
