Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy is an Adventure, Point-and-Click, and Single-player video game developed by Forgwares and published by Wanadoo for Microsoft Windows. The game puts the player in charge of Sherlock Holmes, who is a detective. It is the first release in the series of Sherlock Holmes of adventure games. The player starts the game by investigating a mysterious mansion of British Archeologist named Lord Montecalf. The game is played from a first-person perspective, and the player must navigate locations that are rendered in 3D using the pre-rendered backgrounds. Using the mouse, the player can control the movement of the detective in the environment. While playing the game, the player must gather a set of items and a notepad records. Several challenging levels available and each level lets the player explore the environment, interact with NPCs, find the hidden objects, and struggle to solve mysteries to advance. If the player gets a shibito’s attention, it will attack the player until he attains death. If the player successfully hides from a Shibito, the enemy may give up and resume the player to perform the recent activity.
