The game offers the stunning locations where it takes place and comes with a frantic arcade action FPS gameplay, introducing both single-player and co-op campaign modes, as well as multiple campaigns. The player steps into the shoes of the protagonist named Serious Sam, who is sent back through the time to ancient Egypt to fight, seek wisdom and explore the environment in fifteen massive levels. A hard mode is also available in which the player is confined to a small camp and try to survive against the massive hordes of zombies.
