It is the third title in the series of Senran Kagura video game and serves as the sequel to Senran Kagura Burst. The gameplay focuses on three female ninja teams from duelling shinobi schools. The game introduces a third faction, the Gessen Girls’ Academy. In the story of the game, each ninja school take part in the challenging competition, known as the Shinobi Battle Royale. The attacks must struggle to defeat their enemies, and if they successfully defeated the enemies, they earn the right to destroy the school. In arcade mode, the game uncovers the story to the player of the particular ninja character with which he plays. The game enables the player to experience the story of the game through four different points of view. In Single-player mode, the game has a roster of twenty characters, 10 of which characters are from the original title, and ten characters are new.
