Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage is a 2D Fighting video game developed and published by SNK. The game has both Single and Multiplayer modes. It offers the old-classic world where the player must face off an opponent in one-on-one matches. There are many characters and each has its unique skills, abilities, and playstyle. At the start, the player has to choose his playable character and then jump into fight against an opponent. In each stage, a new opponent is unlock to play against the player. The game introduces new playable characters with two exceptions such as Hanzo Hattori and Haohmaru. A new life bar system is introduced in the game divided into three sections. The first fight remains continue until one person drained of all three sections. The storyline takes place after the events of the previous title. The player assume the role of the warrior who must struggle to fend off an evil gang and save Rimururu. Seishiro Kuki, Rinka Yoshino, Saya, Yaci Izanagi, Ran Po, etc. are playable characters of the game.
