Sacrifice is a RTS (Real-time Strategy), Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by Shiny Entertainment and published by Interplay Entertainment. The game mixes the RTS gameplay with Action twist and puts the player in charge of wizard, who must battle against other enemies or wizards with spells and summoned creatures. Unlike other RTS videos, the game places little emphasis on management and resource gathering. The game hasn’t any system of workers and the player needs to gather souls of wizards to summon deadly creatures and refill his mana for casting powerful spells. During the gameplay, the player can customize his attack by selecting from creatures and spells aligned to five legends. To take down an opponent, the player has to sacrifices a unit while exploring the environment from a third-person perspective. Each match in the game starts with the player control a wizard and an altar. In Multiplayer mode, players can go against each other in various matches and can show off their abilities by defeating opponents. Taking place in the Tower of Silver Star (a magical school), the game lets the player to control the protagonist named Lillet Blan, who is repeatedly experiences the five days of her tenure and uncovers the power behind the journey. While playing the game, the player can command stemming from four different disciplines, accomplishing bonus and story missions by fulfilling the requirements of the tasks within each level. The protagonist appears on-screen as a cursor which the player uses to command troops across the field. He can move across the world from a side-scroll perspective using the point-and-click interface. Several levels are available and the player needs to complete each one by finishing the missions to become the master. In the game, units known as familiars who are established by placing circles called runes on available maps.
