Rygar
Rygar is an Action-Adventure, Platform, and Side-scroll video game created and published by Tecmo. The game supports both Single-player and Two-player modes and it takes place in the old-school world where the player takes on the role of the protagonist, the legendary warrior, who needs to battle against enemies through the hostile landscape. The primary aspects of the gameplay is the use of the weapon known as the Diskarmor, a shield with a chain. According to the storyline, the player is send through the fantastic setting with the main job of taking down the evil king named Ligar to restore the peace to the realm. To complete the job, the player must explore five legends who grant the player with special items required for completing the game. Each legend is located in different realm, and is protected by a boss. The player can select the order in which levels are played, but since specific items are needed to reach some areas, decisions are somewhat limited. With cool gameplay, old-school 2D environment, and smooth controls, Rygar is the wonderful game to play.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is an Action-Adventure, Platform, and Single-player video game with Role-playing elements developed and published by Konami. The game is the 3rd and last installment in the series of Castlevania. The plot of the game takes place in the futuristic year 2035 and revolves around an event when a Dracula has been sealed away after the vicious battle in 1999. The story follows the journey of the protagonist named Soma Cruz, a teenager with occult power as the result of being a vessel of reincarnation of Dracula. The player needs to battle against dark figures that desire to inherit the power of undead lord. The game includes the same combination of elements from role-playing and platform video games as in the previous title of the series. It comes with several new features, including the Tactical Soul System, a Futuristic Storyline, and more. The game is set in the 2D world and can be played from a side-scroll perspective. With engaging gameplay, old-school graphics, and cool features, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is the best game to play.
