Rygar
Rygar is an Action-Adventure, Platform, and Side-scroll video game created and published by Tecmo. The game supports both Single-player and Two-player modes and it takes place in the old-school world where the player takes on the role of the protagonist, the legendary warrior, who needs to battle against enemies through the hostile landscape. The primary aspects of the gameplay is the use of the weapon known as the Diskarmor, a shield with a chain. According to the storyline, the player is send through the fantastic setting with the main job of taking down the evil king named Ligar to restore the peace to the realm. To complete the job, the player must explore five legends who grant the player with special items required for completing the game. Each legend is located in different realm, and is protected by a boss. The player can select the order in which levels are played, but since specific items are needed to reach some areas, decisions are somewhat limited. With cool gameplay, old-school 2D environment, and smooth controls, Rygar is the wonderful game to play.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin lets you experience the blend of Platform and Adventure game elements, developed and published by Konami. Both Single-player and Multiplayer modes are featured, and the game introduces the English voice-over first-time, outside of its main release in Japan. It takes place in the year 1944 in Europe, following the event of World War II and continues the story from the end of the previous release. The new antagonists and protagonists are introduced to the series and featured two-character gameplay discovered in the previous title. It takes the player in the 2D world where the player moves from a side-scroll view and during the gameplay, the player is capable of switching freely between two characters named as Charlotte and Jonathan. Lots of new challenging levels are here to test the durability, strength, and skills of the player. Like the previous games, there are multiple endings feature available, and the end of the game depends on the decision the player takes during the gameplay. The game has three modes such as Sisters Mode, Richter Mode, and Boss Rush Mode.
