Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV is a Simulation, Historical, RPG, Turned-based Strategy, and Single-player video game developed by KOE TECMO GAMES Co, Ltd. After the success of thirteen titles, it serves as the fourteenth title in the series of Romance of the three kingdoms. During the gameplay, the player takes on the role of a commander of the army troops and needs to conquer the different regions.

The game takes place in China with more than forty cities and three hundred regions where the player needs to unify all the regions. The player needs to maintain a supply line to the soldiers of the troop and maintain the line with them to be in touch with the soldiers. If the supply line will cut, the troop becomes weakened and cannot battle in the playfield.

The player needs to change the plan strategy and administration scheme to get to advance in the gameplay. If the player plays with the same strategy every time, the rivals can defeat the player easily as they know the strategy of the player. The game comes up with more than 150 characters and 1000 offices with different abilities and battle skills, and the player can upgrade or unlock the characters.
