Roguelands is the mix of Rogue-like, Role-playing, Pixel Graphics, and Side-scrolling elements created and published by SmashGames. Both Single-player and Multiplayer options are available for players in the game, and it offers a compelling storyline, in which the planet Earth is standing on the edge of destruction. Advanced technology has opened a rift to another dimension, which accesses the beats upon the galaxy. The strange creatures called Destroyer, who traverses world to world in order to spread chaos everywhere. In the game, the player assumes the role of the Galactic Cadet, who is tasked with traversing to hostile planets to find the precious resources before the Destroyer wipes out the core of the planet. During the game, the player can team up with buddies, collect resources, and can use different items to craft gear on his home planet. The player embarks on an epic journey to save the galaxy by defeating the Destroyer. It mainly focuses on turn-based tactics, using the card-based system and lets the player control the actions and movements of the protagonist. In the start of the game, the player needs to customize his deck, and jump into the battlefield against other players or AI to show off his abilities. The cards in the game represents various elements such as weapons, equipment, and characters. When the game started, the player needs to one of six different cards to attack opponent. In Action mode, the player needs to select the cards and use them to move the character. Most of the cards enable the player to move the character three spaces while certain cards allows the player to move up to six spaces.
