The sequel to the Robopon, the game offers similar gameplay to that of the Pokémon series. It takes place after the event of the earlier game, in which the Legend of Porombo Island, named Cody, embarks on an epic journey to find out new lands and titles, but forgets his Robopon. According to the plot, before he turns back to retrieve, his boat is smashed in a storm, and he washes up on the Majiko’s continent. After that, he decides to become the champion of the land. However, to do so, he needs to obtain the XStone and must challenge the champion of Majiko. The player navigates the environment from an isometric perspective to interact with NPCs, fighting against enemies, and advancing through the story to become the master.
