Ripley’s Believe It or Not!: The Riddle of Master Lu is an Adventure, Point-and-Click, and Single-player video game developed by Sanctuary Woods. Throughout the game, the player assumes the role of a protagonist named Robert, who gets pursued by two men in Egypt. The player travels in several parts of the world, where he encounters a common feature called the posh express office.
The posh express office allows Ripley to exchange mail with other characters of the game. Each location also hides a bonus quest that a player has to collect by making progress. The player can find out which locations are important to make sure of the progression. In some cases, the player finds artifacts that can be mailed to New York.
The other characters include Mei Chan, Kuang, Baron, and many others. In the beginning, Mei Chan accompanies the character to the Hall of Classics, where both try to arrange travel plans to Mount Li. The game has core features such as NPC Characters, Posh Express Office, and Multiple Locations.

During the game, the player assumes the role of the protagonist named Peter Grey, who is a bookstore owner and winds up in the world of his favorite comic book. In this point-and-click adventure, the player needs to collect information and help the character make progress.
One night, Peter receives a package that eventually transports him into the Noctropolis, a city of secrets. Five deadliest arch-villains decide to gang up on Peter, mysteriously released from incarceration. The player has to find out who released the criminals and must stop them from wreaking havoc across the city of Noctropolis.
The player interacts with characters and objects that appeared in each world. Manipulation of items and solutions of puzzles is not easy. The player has to overcome the obstacles to advance the story. The game has a verb-based interface that shows up on the screen if the player right-clicks on the screen. Many conversations and cut-scenes are displayed inside a smaller screen of the main console.
