The game unfolds the daring and skilled teenage ninja’s story named Hayate, exploring an evil castle to save the Princess he loves. The player needs to survive in a variety of deathtraps and take down several mythological beings and other enemies on his epic quest to rescue the Princess and smash the castle. The game lets the player controls his character using a joystick for moving him across the stage and make use of one-button for several weapons through fifteen stages, taking place in Feudal Japan-based environment. The game introduces three difficulty levels and comprises traps and beings that need the player to dodge or attack them at a certain point. The game rewards with points to the player and unlocks further levels as he advances through the game. The player is equipped with a sword which he can be used to take down enemies and other strange beings. As the game proceeds, it becomes difficult to play. In the game, the player freely can switch between different cameras to keep an eye over the girls. The player is guided by the police squad to watch the live footage of the house and save the guests. There are a series of challenging levels, and each level has a set of objectives that the player has to complete at any cost. The story of the game follows the five teenage girls, spending their weekend at the Martin home.
