Red Faction is an Action-Adventure, First-person Shooter, Single-player and Multiplayer video game created by Volition and published by THQ. It is the first title in the series of Red Faction and takes place in the late 21st century on the planet Mars. The game puts the player in the protagonist’s role named as Parker, who must assist the rebellion against the rival Corporation known as the Ultor. It has a well-written story, in which the resources of the Earth are being depleted, and the human requires more to survive in the world. The Organization runs the operation of mining on the planet Mars and spread the disease called The Plague around the colony. It has an open-ended world where the game takes place and lets the player explore the world from a first-person perspective, interact with the environment and use a variety of weapons to kill members of Rival Corporation. There are up to twenty diverse levels available with a compelling storyline. The player uses stealth element to accomplish the action-driven objectives.
