Rainbow Islands Revolution is a Side-scroll, Platform and Single-player video game developed by Marvelous Entertainment and published by Taito Corporation for Nintendo DS. Unlike the original title, the playable character named as Bub, who rides in a bubble and the player must control him with the stylus to draw rainbows with it as well. In the game, the player must control the character across the screen using the stylus and contact with foes and dangerous obstacles such as spikes, causing the player to lose his life. The player loses a life and must start the game from the beginning position when all hearts have been lost. The rainbow that the player draw across the screen serves as the barrier through which the foes can’t cross. To kill the enemies, the player must draw the rainbow over the enemy. During the game, the player can tap the drawn rainbow to fall, removing the enemies that lie below. The player can also draw individual shapes which create rainbows with amazing effects. With engaging gameplay, superb mechanics, and brilliant graphics, Rainbow Islands Revolution is the wonderful game to play.

The game offers an exciting gameplay based on the titular comic strip of MAD Magazine. In the unique story mode, the game offers two spies such as Black and White, and comes with additional two other modes such as classic and Modern, and the multiple mode of the game supports up to four-player. The player can select between white spy and black spy to accomplish a variety of missions full of puzzles and a cast of foes, including the enemy spy, controlled by AI. The decision of the player doesn’t matter, the player just receive the same gadgets and weapons on campaign. Modern mode can be played in both Multiplayer and Single-player. The objective is to gather four artifacts from safes across the map before other spy, and then struggle to escape in either the getaway vehicle or the elevator.
