Purge is a First-person Shooter and Multiplayer video game created and published by Freeform Interactive. The game serves as an unofficial sequel to the Future vs Fantasy mod for Quake video game, and it mixes magical and futuristic themes, focused on the FvF purge game mode. The game mainly revolves around character development rather than simple FPS gameplay. In the game, each player needs to select a side from the Chosen and the Order. The forces of the Order comprises the Android, Commando, Cyborg, and Wastelander, while Fighters, Mages, Monks, and Assassins make up the Chosen. The player can move across the world from a first-person perspective with an aim to complete a set of assigned tasks at any cost to reach the end of the game. The player receives points for each completed tasks and can use to unlock additional content. There are total eight challenging missions available and is set against the Battle of Cherbourg. Up to thirty-two players can play simultaneously in one server, with six randomly generated maps three of which are Axis and other three are Allies. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Infiltration, etc. are prominent modes of the game. The player controls the protagonist from a first-person viewpoint, battle against foes, and take down them to complete the requirement of each mission.
