The game offers side-scrolling gameplay, in which you can assume the role of the protagonist named as Kutaro, a young boy who mysteriously changed into an animated puppet. Throughout a variety of levels, the protagonist discovers lots of heads to replace his own to unlock certain animations. If the protagonist damages by an obstacles or enemy attack, he loses his head to have to start from the beginning point. You can hold three different heads simultaneously, and if you lost all, you needs to restart the game from the last checkpoint. The game rewards you with an extra life, as you gather hundred moon sparkles. There are a variety of levels, and you have to complete each one to progress through the game. As you advanced, the game unlocks further content. Puppeteer offers core features such as Swappable Heads, Unique Platform Gameplay, Dynamic Environment, Theatrical Story, etc. Puppeteer is the best game to play and enjoy.
