Punch Line is an Adventure, Anime, RPG, Visual Novel, and Single-player video game developed by Mages. Inc. During the gameplay, the player takes on the role of a protagonist named Yuuta Iridatsu, whose major task is to get his body back from a ghost to the original character. While exploring the house, the player views the environment from a first-person perspective.
The player roams about a horror house where the player can set up pranks in the rooms of NPC. The game takes place in Tokyo where every-day some crimes happened, and behind these crimes, there is only one man, Yakuza. The player needs to investigate several cases and find out the pieces of evidence against the antagonist. The player can switch between two fighting styles, such as crane-style and tiger-style.

During the gameplay, the player takes on the role of a protagonist named Kaname Date, whose main mission is to investigate the murders and explore suspects to solve the issues taking place in Tokyo.
The game divides into two sections, such as Investigations and Somnium parts. The game has multiple ends, as it depends on the way a player examines the case. The character uses its AI abilities, such as X-ray vision, zoom-in, and others that will help the player to make progress. In the somnium part, the player utilizes a machine called Psync Machine that will detect the suspects and key witnesses who denied to say something.
