Project Octopath Traveler is an Adventure, Role-playing and Single-player video game offered by Square Enix for Nintendo Switch. It takes place in the stunning world and offers addictive gameplay supported an aesthetic, mixing the 16-bit style character casts and texture effect with polygonal environments. It features eight different adventurers, and each character has its unique abilities, skills and personality. The player needs to select his one of eight adventurers to begin his journey in different ways. During the gameplay, the player can use his unique command to interact with non-player characters. It revolves around turn-based combat, in which the player can attack enemies using various types of weapons or elemental attack. The game rewards the player with Boost Point, of which the player can store up to five at a time. During his turn, the player has to use up to three Boost Point to boost his command, enabling the player to attack multiple times, raise his defences, or can increase his abilities.
