Throughout the gameplay, the player gets control over a character who turns into a Pokémon. The player has to complete several missions by entering the dungeon. If the player or his partner runs out of the health, the team will eliminate and lose the money as well as half of the items.
The player can aid a friend who needs help by sending a character to his team.
