Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is an Adventure, Visual Novel, Fighting, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by Arc System Works and published by Atlus. The game acts as the sequel to Persona 4 Arena, released in 2012 and the game itself a follow up to the RPG game, Persona 4. It doesn’t feature the region locking system, unlike the previous game. It takes place after the events of Persona 4 Arena and the plot revolves around the two protagonists groups such as the Kirijo Group and the Investigation Team. According to the plot, both groups are stuck in a dimension called the Dark Hour where they discover doppelgangers called Shadows. As the plot of the game proceeds, the cast of characters encounter apparent culprit, the teenager known as Sho Minazuki. While recovering the gameplay elements from the previous installment, the player is capable of selecting each character’s shadow that modify the gameplay elements. Like previous entries, the game revolves around the fighting genre, and the characters can use a variety of combos, special moves, and Persona abilities to take down opponents.
