Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is a Japanese, Role-playing and Single-player video game developed and published by Atlus. It is the third title in the series of Persona game and takes place in the fictional Japanese City called Sumaru. The story centers on the female protagonist named as Maya Amamo, as she investigates the Joker Curse, where the rumors and wishes of the people are coming true and becoming a reason for chaos. During the investigation, the protagonist her other companions, who join her to gain the super abilities to Persona. It features turn-based combat element, where the protagonist uses her Personas in the fight against demons to kill them. There are a variety of quests available, and the player must explore the environment from an isometric perspective, interact with non-player characters and struggle to complete the quests to restore the peace to the fictional land and save the people from the worst of a demon.
