Online Chess Kingdoms is a Strategy, Board and Chess Simulation with both Single-player and Online Multiplayer modes created and published by Konami for PlayStation. The game serves as the first title released for PlayStation. In the game, the player has to follow the traditional rules of the chess and can play against AI opponent at four challenging levels in Single-player mode. The player can play different types of chess including a battle mode and a chess speed, in which the player can play in real-time. The game can be played from either an isometric or 3D perspectives. It offers the similar gameplay to Battle Chess and introduces a new Story mode with five realms such as Spirits, Magic, Chaos, Order, Reason and more. The primary job of the player is to lead his army on the board, plan his strategy and play his turns to eliminate the foes. Each realm has its unique animated set of chess and the moves of the army around the tactical map to capture the squares. With strategic gameplay, brilliant graphics and superb gameplay, Online Chess Kingdoms is the wonderful game to play.

The game takes place in the stunning graphics and introduces online multiplayer feature with advanced AI system. During the gameplay, the player explores the beautiful intricately crafted environments and select from a huge variety of chess sets designed with both traditional and modern chess player. There are more than ten chess sets available with beautiful environments. Up to ten grandmaster-approved AI (Artificial Intelligence) levels are present, and the game supports both Single-player and Multiplayer modes. In Multiplayer mode, the player can compete against other player and struggle to eliminate the opponent before the competitor removes him or her from the game. The player needs to plan his strategy, play his turn and puzzle the opponent.
