Online Chess Kingdoms is a Strategy, Board and Chess Simulation with both Single-player and Online Multiplayer modes created and published by Konami for PlayStation. The game serves as the first title released for PlayStation. In the game, the player has to follow the traditional rules of the chess and can play against AI opponent at four challenging levels in Single-player mode. The player can play different types of chess including a battle mode and a chess speed, in which the player can play in real-time. The game can be played from either an isometric or 3D perspectives. It offers the similar gameplay to Battle Chess and introduces a new Story mode with five realms such as Spirits, Magic, Chaos, Order, Reason and more. The primary job of the player is to lead his army on the board, plan his strategy and play his turns to eliminate the foes. Each realm has its unique animated set of chess and the moves of the army around the tactical map to capture the squares. With strategic gameplay, brilliant graphics and superb gameplay, Online Chess Kingdoms is the wonderful game to play.

The game offers a strategic gameplay based on chess and lets the player to assemble his armies and play against opposing team to progress through the game. It follows the traditional chess rules and enable the player to command his army to eliminate another team’s member and get into its castle to take over. The player assumes the role of the commander and he must execute maneuvers on the playfield and catapult himself into the battle with superb chessman vs. chessman and attacks. The game is played between two players who compete against each another in the seemingly game of chess.
