One Step From Eden is an Action-Adventure, Strategy, and Single-player video game developed by Thomas Moon Kang for multiple platforms. Throughout the gameplay, the player takes on the role of an unknown protagonist who engages in rouge-like battles. It is deck-building gameplay where keep following the strategies is the most important feature.
The game offers the player to fight alone or in clan depending upon the player’s choices. The game offers different enemies and collectibles that will help the protagonist through his adventure to take down the enemies. Nine different characters with each having a unique game style are there where the player can upgrade them by making progress.
The player can utilize the different moves, such as shotgun, mine, pull, and kinetic wave. Each move will damage the opponent’s health and offers different points to the player. The game offers more than 200 spells and almost 100 items to make a strong deck.

In the game, the task of the player is to build a maze of rooms full of trap and foes to lure and kill adventurers to score the points. During the gameplay, the player can use the armies of various evil creatures to attempt to take over the land above ground. There are twenty-one Single-player missions take place in the procedurally generated world. The storyline of the game takes place after the end of Dungeons 2 where the lord of dungeon become bored after dominating the lands above, and efforts to invade a new continent. It has various levels and the player needs to lead his evil army in each level to trap and kill the heroes.
