Odin Sphere is an Action, Role-playing, and Single-player video game developed by Vanillaware and published by Atlus for PlayStation. Taking place in the 2D world, the game focuses on a beat ‘em up fighting mechanics while mixing role-playing elements with fighting. The storyline is divided into five chapters, and it is set on the fantasy continent of Erion, where a war wage between the nations of Ringford and Rangnanival over a weapon known as the Crystallization Cauldron. There are five playable characters, and the player starts the player by choosing his favorite character from available. Over five playable scenarios available and the areas within each level are circular stages enabling movement right or left. The ultimate task of the player is to remove enemies from each region and proceed to the next area. In the game, the battle uses the beat them up system set within these areas and revolve around the character using the mixture of physical attacks. During the game, the player needs to make experience points to grow his character, similar to most RPGs. Odin Sphere offers core features, engaging gameplay, easy controls, and excellent graphics.
