Octopath Traveler is an RPG, Turn-based, Adventure, Strategy, and Single-player video game offered by Square ENIX. The game takes place in the Orsterra, where the player needs to battle and follow the story of characters. During the gameplay, the player takes on the role of one character and explores the world by chasing the biography of that cast.

The game comes up with eight characters, such as Ophillia, Cyrus, Tressa, Olberic, Primrose, Alfyn, Therion, and H’aanit, where all of these possess different adventures. The player can interact with NPCs of two types, such as Noble, where the ability’s viability bend upon the character’s level or value of the virtual currency, and Rouge, which has a danger of its client losing validity upon different NPC’s.

Olberic and H’aanit can challenge characters, Cyrus and Alfyn can ask about specific bits of data, Tressa and Therion can procure things, and Ophilia and Primrose can direct NPCs and use them as visitor summons. The player can use different weapons, elemental attacks, abilities, and items in the battle. At the end of every turn, the game rewards a boost point that allows the player to attack enemies multiple times at once, and the player can get three boost points in a turn.

Each character owns a shield that gets lower when enemies attacks on the character, and when this happens, the character can lose a turn. The player needs to clear side quests and different summaries by making proper decisions to generate the best outcome of the game.
