Nightlong: Union City Conspiracy is an Adventure and Single-player video game developed by Trecision and published by Team17 for Microsoft Windows. The game takes place in a cyberpunk-themed world set in the year 2099. The player steps into the shoes of the protagonist named Joshua Reev, an investigator. According to the plot, the protagonist’s friend named Hugh Martens, summons his friend assist him with a case of massive political importance. The game seems that a team of terrorists are tearing the beautiful city to shreds, and the player is called on Reev to drive the terrorist out of the town. The game provides the player with an inventory management type gameplay, with few puzzle elements. The game introduces a backgrounds that happen to be a blend of hand-drawn graphics and texture-mapped. Most of the game is played from a third-person viewpoint and the characters are cyber-puppets. During the gameplay, the player uses left-click to navigate to examine objects, right-click to combine objects.
