New Super Mario Bros. is an Action, Side-scroll, Platform, Single and Multiplayer video game developed by Nintendo EAD and serves as the installment in the series of Super Mario. The game offers the similar gameplay to previous side-scrolling games in Mario Franchise and offers an exciting story, revolving around the protagonist Mario. According to the story, the player must rescue Princess Peace from the custody of the antagonist named as Bowser. There are several power-ups available that help Mario to accomplish his challenging quests including the Fire Flower, the Super Mushroom and the Starman, each with unique abilities. The game takes place in eight different worlds comprises up to eighty levels with increasing difficulties. During the game, the player can run, jump, kill and fire at enemies to progress through the story. The player can kill the enemies by shooting them or jumping on them while collecting as many coins as the player can to score the highest points.
