It is the 2nd title in the famous series of Nancy Drew and takes place in the fictional environment of New York. In the story, the protagonist named as Nancy Drew is invited to fictional New York City to stay with Mattie Jensen, who is the famous soap opera star. She wants the protagonist to interrogate mysterious death of her co-star named as Rick Arlen. The player explores the environment from a first-person perspective, and solve the mystery through solving complex puzzles, investigating of suspects, and finding clues. The game offers longer gameplay compared to the previous title and comes with improved mechanics. It has three different modes such as Junior, Senior and Master. Each mode has its unique level difficulty, puzzles and hints. The gameplay loosely based on the book entitled, Stay Tuned for Danger.
