Nancy Drew: Message in a Haunted Mansion is an Adventure and Single-player video game developed by Her Interactive and published by DreamCatcher for Microsoft Windows in 2000. The game is the perfect blend of Point-and-Click and Adventure elements, serving as the third title in the series of Nancy Drew video games. In the game, the player assumes the first-person perspective of the fictional amateur sleuth character named Nancy Drew with an aim to solve the challenging mysteries through finding clues, interrogating the suspects, solving complex puzzles, and more. The game has two modes such as Senior and Junior Detective modes, and each offers a unique set of puzzles and hints with increasing level difficulty. The story of the game is loosely based on the book of the name, The Message in the Haunted Mansion. According to the storyline, the character is helping Rose Green, the friend of the protagonist’s housekeeper, with some renovation work in the old mansion situated in San Francisco.
