Nancy Drew Legend of the Crystal Skull is an Adventure, Point-and-Click, and Single-player video game, created and published by Her Interactive for Microsoft Windows. It is the 17th entry in the series of Nancy Drew and loosely based on the book entitled The Mardi Gras Mystery. In the game, the player takes on the role of the female protagonist, a fictional amateur named as Nancy Drew, who embarks on an epic quest to solve a variety of mysteries through solving puzzles, gathering clues, and interrogating of suspects. The player manipulates the environment from a first-person perspective and interacts with non-player characters and objects to gather information about the mystery. There are two different modes such as Junior Detective and Senior Detective modes. Each mode offers unique difficulty level of hints and puzzles. According to the plot, the protagonist goes on vacations with her best friends named as Bess Marvin to New Orleans. As the story advances, the protagonist stops to discover in on Ned Nickerson’s fellow. The last living member of Henry’s family recently died and left him responsible for establishing an estate. The point-and-click interface controls the game, and the player has to solve lots of complex mysteries. Nancy Drew Legend of the Crystal Skull is the wonderful game to experience the Adventure genre.
