Mortal Kombat 11 is an Action, Arcade, Horror, Fighting, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by NetherRealm Studios for several platforms. It is the eleventh main entry in the series of Mortal Kombat and offers similar gameplay to the previous one.
The game offers two new blows, such as Fatal Blows and Krushing Blows. Fatal blows are the special moves that can destroy waves of enemies, use only once in a match, and utilize when the health of the player is below 30%. In contrast, Krushing blows offer unusual variation move against the most dangerous enemies like Brutalities.
The player can block the attack of the enemy with limited time and come back again after recovering the health by using Flawless Block mechanic. The Mercy mode, lastly seen in Mortal Kombat 3, is also available in which the player gives some additional power to the enemy after winning the game to enjoy more fight. Custom Variation feature allows the player to customize the character’s moves, weapons, and outfits.
There are several new fighters, such as Kronika serve as a female boss character, Geras that controls the flow of time, Cetrion, who can produce elemental forces, and in the end, Naknadan with six-arms. There are up to fifteen playable characters available such as Strider, Mega Man, Spiderman, and more. It takes place in the universe of Marvel and Capcom and lets the player choose a team of superheroes to engage himself in combat to knock out competitors. The game uses the similar mechanics to its predecessor and centers on the battle of teams, consisting of two players for each side. Each character in the game has its unique abilities, personality, and skills. Cross Fever, Survival, Training, Versus, Arcade, etc. are prominent modes in the match. The player needs to use his super abilities, and effort to take down the opponent within the time limit.
