Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is an Action-Adventure, First-person Shooter, Single and Multiplayer created by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo. It is the 7th main title in the series of Metroid, a sequel to Metroid Prime, and the 1st in the series with multiple modes. The game casts the player in the role of the protagonist named as Samus Aran, and it takes place in the open world environment with interconnected areas. The player explores the environment from a first-person perspective, and the gameplay centers on solving puzzles, platform jumping, uncovering the secrets, and shooting foes. As the game progresses through the game, it becomes challenging, and further content like power-ups, upgrades, and additional weapons will be unlocked. There are a series of missions, and each mission needs a completion of individual objectives to progress through the game. The player can interact with environment and NPCs during the navigation to complete the tasks. In the game, the player assumes the protagonist’s role, who is a soldier and his primary task is to navigate the world to battle against terrorist and kill them to rescue the innocents. The game features a variety of challenging missions, and each mission has a set of objectives to accomplish. During the gameplay, the player will receive points for complete each objective and can use these points to unlock upgrades and more. There are advanced weapons available, and the player uses during the battle to take down terrorist and hostages. In the starts of each mission, the player is instructed the mission, and then allow him to select his playable characters to be involved in the tasks, select the weapons, and more. The player explores the environment from both First-person and the third-person perspective and can use the map to see his location.
