Metal Gear Survive is an Action, Adventure, Survival, Open-world, RPG, Single-player, and Multiplayer video game offered by Konami Digital Entertainment for multiple platforms. During the gameplay, the player assumes the role of a protagonist as Captain of the MSF, and his primary objective is to reveal the secret of a harmful virus that changes the people of the planet into zombies like creations.
Most of the portion of the gameplay takes place in The Dust that makes the environment invisible, and the player needs to use oxygen for his survival. The player has to make resources, such as water, to fulfill the thirst, food to fulfill hunger, and a shelter to stay. The player can use medical supplies to recover minor injuries, like bleeding and food poisoning.
Enemies of the game are called Wanderers, and the player can kill these dangerous creations using different weapons and gadgets. The weapons may include arrows, firearms, shotgun, pistol, rifle, sniper, and the gadget are grenades, Molotov cocktails, automated gun-turrets, and decoys to take charge against enemies. The game offers four sub-stories, and each of the stories has unique levels.
The game allows the player to protect their base by building crafting stations, farms, animal cages, and water collectors to store water.
