Both figurines and cards are placed on the board where the game is set, with their position influencing their unique abilities and powers. Near Field Communication (NFC) technology is used in the game and the game is set on the grid-based 3×4 board, in which each square on the grid of the board provides the player with different capabilities to the characters. The front row of the board offers offensive bonuses, while the back row is giving the defensive bonuses. The middle row of the board is natural and the characters can move freely across the board. The game has two factions such as the Free People and the Sorcerer Kings. Both have their unique weaknesses and strengths.
