MechCommander 2 is a Real-time Tactics, Single-player and Multiplayer video game created by FASA Interactive and published by Microsoft. The game brings an exciting and challenging gameplay based on the Battle Tech and MechWarrior franchise, and it serves as the sequel to MechCommander. It introduces more than twenty-nine mechs and each has its unique weakness and strength. In the game, there are two different types of Mechs such as Lighter Mechs and Heavier Mechs. The Single-player campaign takes place on the planet known as Carver V and the story starts with the federated commonwealth, breaking apart due to controversial seizure of power of Archon Katrina Steiner. According to the plot, it has claimed a few nations in Carver V, slaughtering Mandarin Cho, the ruler of the plane in conflict. All the homes in the game are avoiding any military operation that could disturb the peace. The game has both Single-player and Multiplayer campaigns available and each has a series of challenging missions to complete. The player controls the character and the units using a point and click interface and can command his team of mechs to take down the opposing team bases and restore the peace. The game offers both modes such as Single-player and Multiplayer and it serves as the sequel to MechAssault. The environment of the game takes place in the BattleTech Universe and offers a compelling story, in which after lots of searches, Major Natalia Kerensky decides to base the testing operations in the city, known as Dante on the planet. According to the story, the Foster and MechWarrior are coming back to their workshop, then suddenly a mystery craft appears and enter the Dante airspace and lands on the ground and start looking for them. In the game, the player commands a series of vehicles, instead of Mechs. These vehicles feature powered armor, tanks, and more. The game allows the player to leave the vehicle and plant explosives to blast the enemies or roam the environment freely as the pilot or human. The main and interesting aspect of the game is ability to hitch rides on Mechs, while equipping a powered armor. Murakumo: Renegade Mech Pursuit is an Action-Adventure, First-person Perspective and Single-player Mechs video game developed and published by FromSoftware for Xbox. The game takes place in the futuristic setting in the year 2090, where an energy source is discovered and the city is built to focus on the additional development of the discovered energy known as Oliver Port. An organization called LugnalCorp use the energy source for the development of the mecha, called ARKs. Due to the high demand, the company expand his branches to create lots of Mechs. The ARKs go against their human operators due to some technical fault and the destructible war begin between humans and ARKs. According to the plot, the highly advanced team of fighter is summoned to battle against the robots and save the humanity from being destroyed. There are several missions available and the player needs to complete each one to proceed through the story. As the player progresses, the gameplay becomes difficult to play.
