You as the protagonist must return with allies and defend earth against the enemy. You must also find Liara T’Soni because she knows the place where Porthean Weapon is located. Your only objective now is to bring the Porthean Weapon in place and defeat the Reapers. Porthean Weapon is the only hope so you must find it and be the bringer of the peace.
