Mario Strikers Charged is a Sports, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed by Next Level Games and published by Nintendo. The game focuses on Football and serves as the sequel to Super Mario Strikers. Through Nintendo Wi-Fi connection, the players can take part in tournaments and online matches. It offers the similar gameplay to its predecessor, where the player fighting for possession of the metallic ball played on different grounds. There are up to twelve characters available, and the player can select five of them to create his team, consisting of three sidekicks, a captain, and a goalie. All characters in the game, except the goalies, are divided into five groups such as Playmaker, Balanced, Power, offensive, and more. After establishing a team, the player can dive into the stadium, where he must play against another player or AI to show off his football skills. The game rewards the player with points, and the player can use them to enhance the abilities of his team and unlock upgrades.
