Major Havoc
Major Havoc is an Arcade, Single-player and Two-player Vector-based video game developed and published by Atari. The game mixes features from several contemporary games, but it is mainly a maze-like game that offers some similarities to Berserk. In the game, the player controls the titular character, known as Major Rex Havoc, in the shoot ‘em up style, in which the layer needs to battle against numerous enemy ships who protect the enemy reactor. The player can explore the environment from a vertical-scroll perspective, and he must land on the space station to kill the enemies and destroy the reactor to save the world. The game introduces the wrap system, enabling the player to skip the level and gain bonus points. The player pilots his ship in the massive space environment, use a weapon to take down the waves of enemies and score the points to unlock further stages to become the master. After landing on the space station, the game turns from vertical-scroll to platform, where the player must control a character from a side-scroll perspective, simulate the environment, run, jump, and attack his way through numerous levels to become the master.
