The game comes with both Single and Multiplayer modes and mixes the Action-Adventure and Racing elements with Full Motion Video cutscenes. It comes with exciting gameplay, where the player takes on the role of the protagonist, a bike rider whose ultimate task is to escape. The player manipulates the environment from a third-person perspective, complete a variety of challenges to advance through the game and unlock further levels to become the master. The game starts with the player, a scientist motorcycle that looks same like Light Cycles. The player can perform more than forty forms of battle and can speak up to fifty languages. The ultimate job of the player is to hit as many pedestrians as possible standing in his way to scoring the points. The enemies are chasing the player in order to kill, but the player must play the game wisely, kill enemies, and reach the end of each level while scoring the best points. In the game, the player as the protagonist can explore the landscape from a first-person perspective. The virtual world enables the player for full freedom of movement and searches for clues in every corner. Like previous games of the series, it takes place in the post-WWII San Francisco in the futuristic year 2042. After the event of devastation due to nuclear war, major cities have been reconstructed, though specific areas remain as they were before the war.
