Life Force is an Arcade, Multi-directional Shooter, Single-player and Co-op video game, developed and published by Konami. The game serves as the spin-off of Gradius, featured the power-up system, vertically and horizontally stages, and two-player gameplay. In the game, the player commands Vic Viper while the 2nd player takes the reins of spacecraft, referred to as Road British. There are six challenging stages available which change between vertical and horizontal scrolling. The player is enabled to continue from where he left the game upon death instead of coming back to a specific checkpoint like Gradius. During the gameplay, the player gains amazing power-ups by selecting capsules left behind by the particular foes. The player explores the environment from a side-scroll perspective, shoot his way through numerous levels while taking down waves of enemies to earn the points. At the end of each stage, the player will face the boss. With immersive gameplay, brilliant graphics, and smooth controls, Life Force is the fascinating game to play.
