Kirby Star Allies is an Adventure, Side-scroll Platform, and Single-player video game developed by Hal Laboratory and published by Nintendo. The game serves as the marvellous title in the series of Kirby and comes with exciting gameplay and detailed graphics. It is played from a 2.5D perspective and puts the player in charge of a titular character named as Kirby, who can be teamed up with three other companions. During the gameplay, the player can throw hearts at enemies to transform them into allies. It takes place on the planet known as Jambastion far away from the home planet of Kirby. According to the storyline, a dark crystal has exploded due to the strange ritual, sending the numerous fragments to the planet, causing the planet is hurling into the deep space. The player can manipulate the world from a side-scroll view with a task to investigate the heart, find the secrets behind the explosion of dark crystal and battle against evil forces to restore the peace.
