King’s Field: The Ancient City is an Action-Adventure. RPG and Single-player video game developed by From Software. It serves as the fourth main installment in the King’s Field series and offers the same gameplay to the previous releases. Throughout the gameplay, the player takes on the role of a protagonist whose main task is to bring the dignity and peace of the kingdom back.
It takes place in the Hela din, where the king of the empire was smitten through an idol, granted to him as a gift. By bringing this idol in the kingdom, the prosperity of the empire ruined, and the nation became corrupted.
The country of Azalin offered an object for the Heladin’s corruption called as The Idol of Sorrow. The protagonist has to return the cursed idol and vitality of the kingdom by embarking on an adventurous journey.
The player will come to know many ancient facts as he advances through the old city. Enemies and obstacles are there for the player to overcome where the player controls the character from a first-person perspective. The player can switch between any characters through the game as per requirement and utilizes an experience system by collecting equipment and items. The game features the Palmira Action System that permits the player to enhance the abilities of the characters by connecting crystals with their armaments.

The game takes place in the medieval-themed world and casts the player in the role the protagonist. It is the fourth title in the series of King’s Field game. According to the story, an ancient race has resurfaced to take down havoc among the Kingdom. You can assume the role of the protagonist and your primary objective is to restore the idol to the Ancient City to destroy the ancient race and save the Kingdom from devastation. The world is populated with monsters and evils and you must explore the world from a first-person perspective, interact with environment and NPCs to progress through the game. You can use multiple weapons to kill monsters and can upgrade your tools using experience points. As the quest completes, the game will increase the difficulty of the level. King’s Field IV is the wonderful game for those players who love playing Role-playing games.
